The Kolgans cruises
slowly down the Breede River whilst you enjoy authentic Afrikaans cusine
and the company of Captain Frans and his crew Amanda and Reneé.
You can take in the wonderful scenery, throw a line into the water for
carp, barbel or bass, swim in the warm river water, twitch the many bird
species along the bank or just chill out and enjoy the unique experience.
"Kolgans" is the Afrikaans name for the Egyptian Goose and is
named for the "kol" (spot or target) on its chest.
The Kolgans runs two or three trips daily (breakfast, lunch and the popular
evening "booze cruise") Times vary according to the season and
special times may be arranged in advance.
See the pictures in the link below for an idea of the Kolgans experience.
